The opportunity
The EY Strategy and Transactions (SaT) team combines all the experience and expertise available within EY in order to offer a complete range of value-added services and to advise on corporate finance transactions, real estate and infrastructure topics, valuations and modeling assignments. For cross-border transactions, we deploy multinational teams from the international EY SaT network. The Belgian SaT team is comprised of over 100 professionals coming from various backgrounds and disciplines.
Our SaT team works with major corporate and private equity clients, investment banks, large central government departments and other public sector bodies, advising them on complex strategic, commercial, financial and operational decisions.
Due to our growth, we are currently looking for a talented Senior (Consultant) Valuation, Modeling & Economics - Real Estate for our Diegem office.
Your key responsibilities
As a consultant within our REAS team you will work closely with your colleagues and managers on a broad variety of transactions cases.
You will be responsible for:
Applying technical and business knowledge to ensure that high-quality results are obtained for all our clients.(Review of) Valuations of real estate assets
Supporting strategic real estate assignments
Participating in transaction real estate engagements and public private partnerships assignments.
Advising clients on all aspects of our Real Estate and Infrastructure Advisory Services practice.
Specific tasks will include financial analysis, financial and cash flow modeling, market information research, real estate documents analysis (including site/building plans, leases, appraisals, and mortgage underwriting/lending documents), market studies, Investment Memorandum, due diligence and report writing.
You have knowledge of real estate issues, DCF (discount Cash Flows), BAR/NAR and eventually EVA (Economic Value Added).
To qualify for the role you must have
Master’s Degree engineering combined with an Economical degree.A complimentary master in Real estate management is recommended.
2-4 years of experience within the real estate industry: experience with real estate appraisals, acquisition due diligence, real estate valuation, asset management, finance, or market research
Excellent trilingual Dutch/French/English
